J. CHRISTOPHER BALLARD, ESQ.

Originally from Largo, Florida, Chris holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from the University of South Florida and is a graduate of the University of Tulsa’s College of Law. Following graduation, he worked for a private Tulsa firm then took a position as General Counsel for a local business with more than 100 employees. While still living and working as an attorney in Oklahoma on a full-time basis, Chris he took and passed the Colorado bar exam. Shortly thereafter, he was hired as an associate attorney at the Grand Junction law firm of Younge & Hockensmith, P.C.; Chris went from an associate attorney to partner at the firm within five years, during that time working with Critical Nurse Staffing, LLC on an outside counsel basis on many occasions. Chris remained managing shareholder at that firm until, in 2012, he left to become General Counsel for Critical Nurse Staffing, LLC. Chris has been with the Company since June 2012 in the same capacity, i.e., as its General Counsel. Chris represents the Company and protects its interests in all its legal matters, in addition to making sure the Company is compliant with all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations.

Chris is married to his lovely wife Marlenes and together they have two beautiful children with whom they spend most of their time enjoying the outdoor activities which make Colorado’s Western Slope such an attractive place to live.
